Handmade

I like handmade crafts. i have wanting to have an online stall selling my handicrafts for a few years.

recently i chanced upon a site which is an online marketplace for buying & selling all things handmade. all the sellers have interesting crafts. registration is free but listing the crafts up cost 20cents per item (i think it is in USD$).

take a look at this site. http://www.etsy.com/index.php. who knows, 1 of these days, you may see my crafts online. :-D

Contemplating

Been contemplating whether to look for a full time job for a week. not that i dun like my job...a-mum-a-cow-a-sleeping-mate-a-maid-a-freelance-designer (thanks to my mother-in-law, i get breaks in between that makes me sane). i pretty much enjoy it, having to be able to manage my own time between work, kids and housework..but recent news of the raise in rice price makes me feel disturbed. is my dear husband able to cope with the raise?? now that there is already a raise in public transportation cost, electricity, oil, bread, noodles...whatever you can think of, it has already raised. living in a tiny country, Singapore, there is nowhere we can run that we can avoid those raised.

and being a mum doesnt give me the privilege of having more childcare grant. it is $150 for working mum, $75 for non working mum. hmm..doesn't looking after kids, doing housework....consider working too?

too much to consider. i will give myself till dec this year to decide. till then...i will be breastfeeding my boi. a sleeping mate with my girl. doing housework. and occasionally doing freelance design work.

Daughters are closer to daddy.

They say....daughters are closer to daddy....i wonder who say it. my 3 year old sticks to me like glue, she will want me to sleep beside her at nite, want me to read stories to her, disturb me in whatever little way she wants my attention...even when i am in the toilet...pooing, she will bang the door to let her in.

i should be happy that she is a odd one out..but, i do want to have a little space of my own and not all occupied by her. it drives me crazy at times.

and now when i am typing this blog, she is beside me....playing with my fan, playing with my papers, playing with whatever stationery she can find on my computer desk.

ok...i better go somewhere before i go crazy.
